Dr. Esin Özlem Atmış

Facelift & Neck Lift · Rhinoplasty · Voice Surgery

Considered surgical decisions begin with understanding your priorities. Assessment, the right intervention and follow-up are part of one plan.

An Individual Approach to Surgery

The right treatment begins with the right understanding.

A face is not a collection of separate features. Age-related changes, facial structure, skin quality and individual expectations need to be considered together. Dr. Esin Özlem Atmış approaches treatment with attention to the whole face, the purpose of each intervention and the care needed in the years that follow.

Sometimes surgery may be appropriate. Sometimes a less invasive treatment, a different approach or no immediate intervention is the more considered decision.

Her professional development includes advanced training in laryngology at the University of Manchester and clinical educational experience in Graz and Philadelphia. She has also participated in scientific meetings relating to facial anatomy, rejuvenation, rhinoplasty and voice surgery.

Every intervention should have a reason. Every patient deserves to be understood.

About Dr. Atmış Scientific Activities

The Treatment Philosophy

Thoughtful decisions. Care that continues.

Choosing treatment is not simply about selecting a procedure. It is about understanding the problem, weighing the alternatives and having a plan that extends beyond the day of surgery.

01 · Understand

A careful first assessment

Your concerns, previous treatment, medical history, expectations and priorities deserve attention before recommendations are made.

02 · Consider

The appropriate intervention

Surgical options, less invasive treatments, their limitations and the possibility of not intervening are considered according to your needs.

03 · Continue

Follow-up and continuity

Recovery, necessary examinations and longer-term questions remain part of the care plan, including for patients who live abroad.

Facial Rejuvenation

Facelift and neck lift: looking at the whole face.

People considering facial rejuvenation often notice changes in several areas at once: the jawline, neck, cheeks, brow or the relationship between facial structures. An effective consultation looks at how these changes relate to each other rather than assuming that one procedure is right for everyone.

Dr. Atmış’s assessment considers anatomy, skin and soft-tissue changes, facial proportions, previous treatments and personal priorities. The discussion may include facelift, neck lift or other appropriate options, alongside their limitations and recovery considerations.

Facelift Consultation

Understanding facial changes

A facelift consultation considers the cheeks, lower face, jawline, tissue support and how different regions of the face work together.

The objective is to understand what concerns you, what your anatomy allows and whether a surgical approach is appropriate.

Neck Lift Consultation

Considering the jawline and neck together

Changes in the neck may involve skin laxity, deeper tissues, fat distribution or a combination of factors. The relationship between the neck and lower face matters.

Assessment helps determine which options deserve consideration and when surgery may not be necessary.

For Patients Living Outside Türkiye

Medical care in Istanbul, with continuity beyond your visit.

Travelling for a medical consultation or surgery involves important decisions. Understanding the potential treatment, the need for an in-person examination and the expected follow-up arrangements can help you plan with greater clarity.

Before Your Visit

Online Preliminary Consultation

If you live abroad, you can enquire about an initial video consultation when available and appropriate.

This conversation may help clarify your main concerns, previous treatment history, general expectations and the next steps for an in-person assessment in Istanbul.

An online preliminary conversation cannot replace a physical examination, necessary investigations or the assessment required to determine surgical suitability.

After Your Treatment

Remote Follow-Up

After surgery or another treatment, recovery and long-term follow-up remain important parts of care.

Where appropriate, remote follow-up conversations may complement scheduled examinations, helping patients discuss recovery, questions and whether another assessment is necessary.

Remote follow-up cannot replace essential in-person postoperative checks or urgent medical assessment. The follow-up plan depends on the procedure and individual circumstances.

    Common Questions

    Before you arrange a consultation

A few practical points for people considering medical assessment or surgery in Istanbul.

Can I speak to the practice before travelling to Istanbul?

Yes. You can make an initial enquiry from abroad and ask whether an online preliminary consultation is available and appropriate for your circumstances. A physical examination may still be required before treatment can be recommended.

Will I be advised to have surgery at the first consultation?

Not necessarily. The decision depends on your concerns, examination findings, relevant medical history and expectations. The discussion may include surgery, other treatment options, further assessment or no immediate intervention.

How will follow-up work if I live outside Türkiye?

Follow-up requirements depend on the treatment and recovery. Necessary in-person reviews are planned individually, and remote follow-up may complement them when clinically appropriate. Your local medical care options should also be considered.

Can I ask about facelift, neck lift and rhinoplasty in the same consultation?

You can discuss more than one area of concern. Evaluating the face as a whole can help clarify which changes are relevant and whether any treatment combination should be considered. This does not mean multiple procedures will necessarily be recommended.

    Where does surgery take place?

When an operation is appropriate, the surgical setting and hospital arrangements are discussed as part of the individual treatment plan. The practice consultation address should not be assumed to be the location of the operation.
